Love For Paws

Dog Training

Our passion is helping people and their pets.

  • We are driven by compassion and a true love of animals.

  • We use reward-based dog training methods because they are humane, effective, and create lasting change in your dog's behavior.

  • We prioritize continuing education for ourselves so we can bring you the best of what the dog training world has to offer.

  • We aim to strengthen the bond between you and your dogs and give you the best life possible with them.

Please note: After 10/1/24 we will no longer be offering walking and sitting. We are phasing out that side of the business to make room for more dog training.

ABOUT US

Jennifer Damon is thrilled to now serve the community of North Chesterfield, Richmond, VA and the surrounding areas! She began training dogs and walking them in 2010 in Los Angeles, CA and worked there until 2022. She holds a diploma in Canine Behavior Consulting from Cheryl Aguiar's International College of Canine Studies. She is also a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and an author for Wikihow on dog training and care.

In her effort to better assist the human/canine relationship, she has studied not only dog behavior but ethics, logic, the scientific method, operant and classical conditioning, applied behavior analysis, canine anatomy and physiology, comparative psychology, human psychological dynamics, learning theory, and the origins of the domesticated dog.

She uses gentle methods which are based in science.

Aaron Friscia and a golden retriever puppy.

Aaron Friscia grew up in LA and is a hiking enthusiast with a passion for animals. He has what we jokingly call "animal magnetism" because both dogs and cats seem to gravitate to him immediately. Aaron is an excellent assistant trainer. Here he is pictured with one of their clients, a sweet pup named Ms. Minnie. He loves his new home of Richmond, VA and is very excited to explore the area!
