Jennifer Damon is thrilled to now serve the community of North Chesterfield, Richmond, VA and the surrounding areas! She began training and walking dogs in 2010 in Los Angeles, CA and worked there until 2022. She holds a Certificate in Canine Behavior Consulting from The International College of Canine Studies. She is also a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and an author for Wikihow on dog training and care.
In her effort to better assist the human/canine relationship, she has studied not only dog behavior but ethics, logic, the scientific method, operant and classical conditioning, applied behavior analysis, canine anatomy and physiology, comparative psychology, human psychological dynamics, learning theory, and the origins of the domesticated dog.
She uses gentle methods which are based in science.
She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Montevallo.
Her husband, Aaron has recently joined the business allowing them to include dog walking and pet sitting services again. It's a family business that they love!
Aaron Friscia grew up in LA and is a hiking enthusiast. He not only walks dogs but helps to train them on the walk as well. He has what we jokingly call "animal magnetism" because both dogs and cats seem to gravitate to him immediately. Here he is pictured with their newly adopted dog, Maia, giving her chest scratches. He loves his new home of Richmond, VA and is very excited to explore the area!
*Jennifer and Aaron are fully vaccinated and wear masks during visits.
